To no one’s surprise, Rex Ryan is no longer the Bills’ head coach since he was fired. Jets current player Sheldon Richardson thinks that the coach may still have a future in coaching.
The Jets are just about done with their disaster-filled season. Back in August, there was a lot of hope but it finally comes to an end on Sunday, New Year’s Day, against the Bills. The Bills have a slightly better record than the Jets but even so, both teams are just looking to start over, especially since the Bills fired Rex Ryan as their head coach.
Jets Defensive end Sheldon Richardson has a different opinion in regards to Rex Ryan’s firing.
“Most definitely,” said Jets defensive end Sheldon Richardson when asked if Ryan should keep coaching.
“That’s bad,” Richardson said. “That’s just bad. He wants to win games, so he puts his best players out there, and he gets fired for it? That’s kind of bad, in my opinion.”
“Life’s full of twists and turns that take you different places,” Richardson said. “You never know. “
The Jets face the Bills this Sunday, January 1.
