The performance from Darrelle Revis this season has disappointed many people, but the Jets owners seem to be furious the most.
Woody Johnson is unhappy with his performance and most likely won’t offer him a pay cut at the end of the season.
“A Jets source indicates that the team may not offer cornerback Darrelle Revis a chance to take a pay cut this offseason, even if he were willing to accept one,” Bleacher Report’s Jason Cole reported Thursday. “Owner Woody Johnson pushed hard for the team to bring back Revis in 2015, but was warned by some people in the organization not to bring back Revis.
Whether Revis decides to continue to play after this season or not, it’s more than likely his days with the Jets are numbered.
