Before the season, many expected the young Timberwolves to compete for a playoff spot. However, Tom Thibodeau’s team jumped out the gates very slow, losing tons of games in the weighing minutes.
Don’t look now, but the Wolves are currently on a three-game winning streak and only two and a half games out of the eighth seed.
After Wiggins missed a pivotal free throw down the stretch, the Suns were able to take the lead after a pair of free throws. Unfortunately for Suns fans, there was too much time on the clock for Wiggins.
