Badou Jack Talks To BSO About The Anticipation For #BadouDeGale Fight (Video)

Fight night is on January 14, 2017 and Badou Jack is set to face off against James DeGale. This is the year’s first match and the undercard is looking promising. We spoke to Badou Jack about the fight.

The fact that boxing is back in New York is reason enough for boxing fans to be hype about this match. New York has been missing out in boxing action but the wait is finally over. Badou Jack is set to fight against Badou Jack tonight, January 14, 2017. Not only is this fight going to be absolutely amazing but the undercard is reason enough to tune in or go to the Barclays Center if you’re in town of course.

What can we expect from the talented Badou Jack? Jack has experienced his share of terrible matches, which includes that draw that is still questionable today. Jack however, is under the wing of a smart businessman and ex-boxer Floyd Mayweather. In other words, who else understands how much this fight means to Jack more than Mayweather?

We had the chance to speak to Jack after the press conference this past week. Confidence is radiating off the boxer and he has been working hard with his training camp to make sure that he delivers an astounding performance tonight. Although he described his opponent DeGale as arrogant, you can tell that he has nothing but respect for him and vice versa. This is apart of the boxing persona though-they thrive on smack talk before the match as they keep some sort of respect.

Don’t expect for DeGale to not put up a fight. The boxer has an impressive 14 wins by knock out and during the press conference, he said, “I’ve got no question that I will be victorious.”

Something tells me that this might end a tad early but will not go beyond the 7th round. Which one of the two will win? That’s something I still haven’t figured out myself because this fight is genuinely tough to predict. Both of these fighters are knock out specialists so it wouldn’t surprise me if there is a knock out early.

Make sure to tune in on Showtime at 9:30 pm tonight, January 14.
