The Raiders to Vegas narrative has been teased for a few years but not until recently have those rumors turned into whispers and those whispers turned into full-blown negotiations.
Mark Davis hasn’t been shy about moving his team to Las Vegas. He’s said several times, including in the interview seen below, that the Raiders would be on the move if the city of Las Vegas held up its end of the bargain. Well it did.
Mark is now staying true to his word. Today the Raiders officially submitted their paperwork to relocate to the desert.

All that remains is a NFL owner’s vote for relocation, which will take over 66% approval to pass. With owners like Jerry Jones & Bob Kraft reportedly on board with the move it’ll be difficult to see how the Raiders don’t make the move official this Spring.
