College football analysts break down so many players every week of every season, most of us forget what they’ve said about them….do not count Clemson LB Ben Boulware amongst that crowd.
During the 2016 season, ESPN College Gameday analyst Desmond Howard took some shots at QB Deshaun Watson & the Clemson defense…most specifically Boulware himself, calling him the “achilles heel” of the unit.
Now able to call himself a national champion, Boulware didn’t forget the comment and dedicated a recent tattoo to Howard; taking to his twitter page to let the world know he’d heard the comments:
.@DesmondHoward remember saying this? was thinking of a place to put my National Championship tattoo and what better place than my achilles? pic.twitter.com/LQqBMrwW3l

When you handle business like Clemson did, you can take the time to go back and check for everyone that had something to say. Boulware didn’t get disrespectful and got his point across perfectly.
Well done.
