Details on ESPN Choosing OBJ & Rex Ryan as Hosts for Super Bowl Show

ESPN has announced that they’ll be adding arguably the most entertaining active player in the NFL and the most boisterous head coach this century to their Super Bowl LI coverage.

That’s right, New York Giants’ WR Odell Beckham Jr. and Rex Ryan will be part of ESPN’s NFL Countdown show on Super Bowl Sunday.

ESPN has added a pair of special guests for its Super Bowl LI coverage in Houston – New York Giants All-Pro wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. and former Buffalo Bills head coach Rex Ryan. Beckham and Ryan will be part of ESPN’s Postseason NFL Countdown special on Super Bowl Sunday, Feb. 5 (11 a.m. – 2 p.m. ET), joining co-host Suzy Kolber and Hall of Famer Steve Young from ESPN’s set at NRG Stadium.

Adding guest hosts for the NCAA Football National Championship game works very well for the network, so it’s interesting if they can catch a similar dynamic for the Super Bowl.
