TMZ Sports has learned that former 2005 NBA second round pick Orien Greene was arrested on Monday for breaking into homes and rubbing a sleeping woman’s butt. Yes, you read that correctly.
The police report detailed that the 34 year old ex Celtics player entered the first home early Monday morning and went to the bedroom where he found a sleeping 56 year old woman. He apparently left that home without incident.
Greene then broke into a home across the street and found a 40 year old woman sleeping and he allegedly kissed the woman on the neck and “rubbed her butt.” The woman woke, started yelling and Greene fled the scene. He was found at his girlfriend’s house in the same neighborhood and arrested.
This is clearly creepy and disturbing behavior from Greene. Unfortunately the story will most likely end here. He will be charged and depending on his lawyer’s ability either pay some fine, be under probation or serve jail time. But the reality is, this behavior clearly suggests something is wrong with this person. If we are truly concerned about making this a better world, mental health needs to be something we take seriously in this society.
