Johnny Manziel appears to be aware of what his life has become and looks to be willing to make some changes. The former Browns quarterback took to Twitter and unleashed a series of tweets detailing his current state of mind and how he thought 2016 went.

These words sound sincere and Johnny appears to have gained some perspective. Reaching a low point will do that for most people. But, Manziel has made attempts to rebuild his life in the past.

This could be more than a New Year’s resolution. You know what they say, admittance is the first step on the road to recovery. Only time will tell if Manziel has indeed turned over a new leaf.
If this attempt to change his life is rooted in the hopes of returning to the NFL he may want to rethink the end goal. I have no idea whether or not he can play in the league. But, any attempt at recovery should be made because he wants to find peace and happiness.
