Trump’s presidency is giving us a headache in every way. Spurs head coach Gregg Popovich is an outspoken individual and will continue to take jabs at him. This time, it’s in reference to Kawhi Leonard’s injury.
Gregg Popovich is a national treasure and we need to make sure to keep him protected. Not only is he a monumental coach but he says exactly what others are shy about voicing. Before anything, Kawhi Leonard’s injury is a serious matter to Pops but as we all know, he loves to have fun with reporters. He just decided to word Leonard’s injury differently and thus, poke fun at the mockery that happens to occupy the White House.

Delivering the news that star forward Kawhi Leonard would not play, Popovich said it was because he had “an injury that’s really not an injury.” When a reporter repeated that phrase and wondered what it meant, Popovich smiled and said, “It’s a figurative statement. It sounds like some of the things that are going on politically in the world.”
