Toronto Raptors star PG Kyle Lowry didn’t mince words when asked about the recent Muslim Ban sending chilling effects throughout the country the past 48 hours.

NBA star Kyle Lowry on #MuslimBan: “I think it’s bullshit.”
“Want to try it again without swearing?”
KL: “No.”pic.twitter.com/weGVExZJDj— Richard Chambers (@newschambers) January 30, 2017
Many, many people share Lowry’s rhetoric about the ban, however the worrisome part of all this, for me; is the utter lack of support some Americans have for AMERICAN CITIZENS who have lived here legally for years.
To some, ( I won’t say any names Sage Steele) the ban is being seen as an unfortunate delay or inconvenience; to others, their lives are being turned upside down. Families are being separated, illegally detained, and rushed in fear not knowing where to go or what to do.
Do I agree that the United States needs to make responsible steps to secure borders and protect Americans? The answer is simple: Yes.
You can take comprehensive steps to achieve what the President thinks is necessary, and you can do it without compromising the safety of hundreds; maybe thousands or people traveling abroad simply because of their location.
Vetting is one thing, handcuffing & treating people inhumanly is entirely another.
