Trouble brewing for MSU Football.
Dan Murphy of ESPN.com is reporting that three members of the Michigan State Spartans football team are at the center of a sexual assault investigation.
The University police department has taken steps to get warrants for the 3 players, who have been suspended & evicted from campus housing, along with a staff member; pending the results of the investigation.
The names of the players accused have not yet been released.
MSU also announced the suspension of recruiting director Curtis Blackwell, however; have declined to say if that suspension was related to the aforementioned investigation.
The athletic department has retained an independent law firm to review the football team’s compliance with Title IX sexual assault procedures.
