Aaron Hernandez’s trial for another murder is coming up later this month. Travis Anderson of the Boston Globe reports a defense motion has been filed and prosecutors intend to call Josh McDaniels as one of the witnesses.
The focus will be around Hernandez’s tattoos. Hernandez has many tattoos involving guns, one in particular, a six-shot revolver with one empty chamber and the words “God Forgives”.
Prosecutors plan to ask McDaniels about another set of tattoos, if he’s called. Hernandez texted McDaniels another tattoo he received at the same time with the letters ‘CBS/WBS/IWBTG’. They would ask McDaniels what do those letters mean.
Of course, Hernandez’s attorney’s have argued that that interpreting the tattoos as an admission of guilt would be “rank speculation” but the judge presiding over the case believes his tattoos tell a story and that’s how Hernandez’s brags about his “activities”.
At least McDaniels can prepare for the Super Bowl in the meantime.
