Many WWE fans expected to see a huge surprise entrance from Finn Balor at the Royal Rumble; instead they got Roman Reigns at #30.
According to The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, injured WWE star Finn Balor was evaluated by doctors this week and was not cleared to return to the ring.
With regards to Royal Rumble match rumors, it’s likely Balor was never even considered as a surprise match entrant, as his target return date has always been late February or early March of 2017.- Via WrestleZone
Finn is still on pace to return for WrestleMania, so don’t be surprised to see a run-in of sorts from the Demon.
