Sacramento Kings majority owner Vivek Ranadive has a better shot of being a starting NBA point guard, than he does of turning Sac Town into the new San Antone.
The mercurial Kings owner says all the right things, even if he doesn’t have a clue what he’s talking about sometimes.
Still trying to develop an identity and culture, Ranadive went for the new normal, telling reporters that he’d like to be the Spurs, with Sacramento being a more exciting version.

That would take consistency and credibility that Vivek and the Kings don’t even have time to consider.
At this point, he’s lucky if he can get the Kings to be like the old Clippers.
