Conor McGregor is serious about not returning to the UFC until after a mega-fight with Floyd Mayweather.
During his online PPV interview he made his intentions clear.
“Look, there’s are a lot of steps to get the fight done, but it’s the fight to make,” said McGregor. “It’s the fight that people want. It’s the fight that I want.”
“Once we come to a set number that I’m happy with, he’s [Mayweather’s] happy with — then we go to the customers. Then we go to the promoters, the buyers. Then we get it done. That’s next. I’ll go to Vegas … we’ll figure that situation out, and then we’ll come to the dotted line, and then we’ll go. But this is happening.”
Today, McGregor posted a video showing his sparring sessions.
As you can see, McGregor is sticking with his traditional karate stance and ditching conventional boxing wisdom.
Will his unorthodox style confuse Floyd? Will he be able to land his heavy left hand?
