New England Patriots running back James White scored the game-winning touchdown in Super Bowl LI, but couldn’t remember what he did with the football. Similarly, Tom Brady’s game-worn jersey turned vanished after the game.
It turns out, however, that the football wasn’t missing after all. A Patriots’ ball boy snatched it up after White’s overtime-score, according to ESPN.
A team spokesman explained that an equipment assistant retrieved the football at the time of the touchdown, as would be normal protocol.
The football could ultimately be given to White as a keepsake, but for now it is being shared with the team’s fans

They may have found the ball (so they say, but from playbooks to air in a football, things usually end up missing whenever New England is involved.)
