The Billikens of St. Louis University lost a road game to St. Bonaventure Wednesday night to go to 8-16 on the season.
Apparently, the team bus driver didn’t feel like the team deserved a ride back to the airport and left them at the arena.

The team was able to track down the runaway driver using the “Find My Iphone” feature on an iPad that had been left on the bus. After a highway chase, state troopers recovered the bus and the team was able to get all of their possessions back and get to the airport for the flight back to the Midwest.
Thankfully, we got to our original bus, got all of our stuff and are headed to the airport for a very late flight pic.twitter.com/8BUIGnQJDQ

56-year-old Linda Edmister’s blood alcohol level was more than five times over the legal limit when state troopers caught up with her 40 miles outside of St. Bonaventure. She has been charged with a DWI.
The team first noticed that things weren’t right with the driver when she was “swerving and speeding” through back roads after picking them up from the airport. She also struggled to find the right hotel entrance to pick the players up for the game.
