This is one of those stories you tell your grandkids and they’re just like, yeah, ok. However, it’s 2017 and Victoria Bonya can scroll through the internet and pull out her receipts.
Bonya, a 37 year old Russian model and former Playboy model says she was held by US Agents at LAX because they thought she was a spy. New York Post reports Bonya posted on her Instagram that she was held because they found a business card for Spy-Land, a company that specializes in hidden cameras, in her luggage.
When they questioned her, she said they asked her about Vladimir Putin. The agent followed up by asking her about the KGB and she thought they were joking but they kept pressing her.
How did she manage to be let go? Instagram and Twitter. She showed them her followers on both platforms which is about 6 million in total. A spy wouldn’t be so visible. Also, a spy wouldn’t be carrying a business card flaunting their “spyness”.
Now she is a model, so if you want to see her work you know what to do.
