Wrestling fans who long for a match-up between Shaquille O’Neal and The Big Show may get their wish after all.
According to Uproxx.com, talks for a bout that would bring the two sporting giants together at WrestleMania 33 reignited after some trash back and forth trash talk between the two and accusations from the Big Show that the “Big Aristotle” is ducking him. Growing tired of the jabs Shaq reached back out to the powers that be at the WWE.
“I’ve talked to somebody high up in the organization, and they – we’re back talking again. I just want the people to know it had nothing to do with me, despite what you hear.
“No, I haven’t seen [what websites are saying about the match being in danger]. We talked yesterday. I didn’t know that. I’m going to see you. I’m not worried about it, Big Show. I’m going to see you. The world ain’t that big for me not to see you.”
Big Shaq like what vs. The Big Show on the big WrestleMania stage. Let’s hope it happens … and the ring is reinforced prior to action starting. But don’t hold your breath, there’s foot powder and insurance that still needs selling.
