A crazy scenario played out on the New Orleans sidelines during a stoppage in play in tonight’s east region tilt vs Mount St. Mary’s.
New Orleans players Travin Thibodeaux and Christavious Gill appear to get into some sort of disagreement, leading to Thibodeaux appearing to briefly choke Gill before being split up by other teammates & coaches:
Being hyped and emotional is one thing, this is a bit much among teammates. #MarchMadness pic.twitter.com/fB3WT43VLw

Just as the tweet says, being emotional this time of year is to be expected, but this is dangerous and unacceptable behavior…especially for TEAMMATES.
New Orleans coach Mark Slessinger made the choice to sit Thibodeaux for the rest of the game, & the Privateers ended up losing the game 67-66.
March Madness indeed.
