Former President Barack Obama may have left the White House but he is still as popular as ever in the sports community. TMZ Sports caught up with Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban and asked him if he would consider selling a stake in the Mavericks to 44. Cuban said he would definitely sell President Obama a stake. The sale price is $300M.
First, not sure President Obama has $300M. He is not one of these silver spoon politicians, though he has done quite well with a book deal and will in the future with speaking fees. But more importantly, a 10% stake at $300M means that the Mavericks are worth $3B. Last time we checked the Mavs were valued at just above $1.4B…that’s a nice markup for Cuban.
