Steph Curry on Who He Thinks Would Win MVP If Season Ended Today

The reigning two-time MVP Steph Curry made an appearance on the Dan Patrick Show. Amongst being asked several other questions, the most appealing one pertained to this year’s MVP race.

When Curry was asked who would he pick, his answer may surprise some.

You kind of have to reward the better team, I would think, record-wise. That’s just kind of going in the history of the MVP award. So, I think James will probably edge him out just off of that.

Considering Russell Westbrook is averaging a triple-double, some may say Curry is taking a slight job at Kevin Durant’s former teammate, but at the same time, the chef makes a great point.

Sure, Harden has a better supporting case than Westbrook, but it’s not like he’s playing with another all-star. Before the season, no one in their right mind had the Rockets as the third seed in the western conference.

Nonetheless, this race will surely come down to the wire.
