Adidas In Hot Water For Insensitive Email Selling Boston Marathon Apparel

Sigh. I get it, Adidas, I really do, but maybe this isn’t the best choice of words.

We all felt the tragedy of the 2013 Boston Marathon Bombing. The incident killed three people along with hundreds of others injured. It was four years ago, but the attack left Boston stronger and encouraged community, igniting something more than just a marathon. Adidas, naturally trying to sell apparel, made the wrong move with their email blast, looking insensitive to the attack and playing on people’s emotions.

People all over twitter have shared their disgust of the email blast and calling for the company to issue an apology. Do you think Adidas was being ignorant or are being overly sensitive?
