Spring Break signifies warm weather, parties, and sometimes, a little bit of rowdiness.
Things got a little too rowdy for Redskins linebacker Junior Galette at a Spring Break event in Biloxi, Mississippi over the weekend. Galette was arrested for disorderly conduct and failure to comply after getting into a fight at MGM Park on Friday night and running away.
His agent, Ralph Whalen, confirmed the arrest and added that Galette had already been released on bail.
This isn’t the first time Galette has found himself in hot water. He was arrested in early 2015 on domestic abuse charges. Although the charges were dropped, a civil case against him is still pending. Later that same year, he was seen swinging a belt at someone during an altercation at the beach.
Coupled with his off-field problems, the linebacker has not played the last two seasons due to separate Achilles injuries. He re-signed with the Redskins during the offseason despite not appearing in an NFL game since 2014 with the New Orleans Saints.
