It’s been a few years since former Cavs player Booby Gibson turned in his jersey to pursue a music career.
TMZ Sports caught up with Gibson who informed them that he’s been working with some pretty big names: Chris Brown and Wiz Khalifa. According to Booby, his music career is taking off and Breezy and Wiz are just a few of the stars he’s working with.
However, Booby most likely won’t be spitting bars as he’s working mostly as a writer. He feels his NBA background might cause some not to take him seriously as an artist – ala Shaq and Kobe.
We have to say that Booby’s got a little more lyrical skill than the aforementioned basketball greats.
