Phil Simms will not be going away quietly.
The now removed lead CBS commentator made his first public comment since being replaced in the booth by the former Cowboys star.
“I am not done,” Simms told Gary Myers of the New York Daily News in a text message.
Simms made it clear that he won’t be retiring, even after being replaced by Tony Romo as the color commentator on CBS Sports’s lead NFL team.
Simms also made it seem as if he was blindsided by the move as well.
