According to Stein, Romo will be a “Maverick for a day” and sit on the bench in the team’s uniform.

Stein reports that when Mavericks owner Mark Cuban said over the past week that the club would be looking to add “a pass-first point guard” before playing out the season’s final five days — he was referring to the Cowboys all-time leading passer.
