Braun Strowman Out With Elbow Injury; What Does This Mean For Roman Reigns & Brock Lesnar

This news was annoying to hear. Braun Strowman has been on top his game and involved in a good feud with Roman Reigns until, UNTIL………news broke that he’d be sidelined for a few weeks due to an elbow injury.

Pro Wrestling Sheet broke the news and said Strowman will reportedly be out 4-8 weeks to undergo an minor procedure to fix his elbow.

So what does this mean for Extreme Rules and Great Balls of Fire? Yes, that is a PPV title. Strowman was going to face Reigns at Extreme Rules and then he was reportedly going to face Brock Lesnar at Great Balls of Fire.

Luckily, Strowman is only out for a few weeks so instead of having Lesnar vs Strowman at GBOF WWE can book it for Summerslam. Quite frankly, this is more of a Summerslam type match anyway. They’ve done a great job building him, so let Strowman main event Summerslam. That’s a blockbuster feud and they should keep Roman Reigns far away from that.

Although, Reigns and Strowman would have to resume their feud once he returns and that could bleed into SummerSlam. In the meantime, WWE might throw Big Show Reigns’ way for Extreme Rules because he’s big and he can be believably physical with him. However, they should let Reigns relax these next few weeks. Both him and Strowman are having a really physical feud. We see Roman coming out heavily wrapped up due to his “injuries”. So while Strowman is out, they should have Roman “heal up”.

Then, Strowman can surprise attack Reigns at GBOF and take him out or build towards a triple threat with Brock. Either way, this injury is only going to push a few things back and make the build to SummerSlam a bit more interesting.

As for Brock, he’ll just collect and cash those checks until it’s time to be back on TV, which is soon.
