This is scary and random. KTVI St. Louis reports a 34-year old was grazed by a bullet during the Cardinals against the Brewers Tuesday night. She was sitting near the Cards dugout when she felt a pain in her arm. She noticed the injury when she took off her jacket and the bullet was found near her seat.
She went to the stadiums first aid kit for treatment and declined further treatment at the hospital as the injury was a flesh wound.
They contacted an off duty officer and filed a report with the police department.
No word on where the bullet came but it’s crazy to think that that’s where it ended up.
KTVI also report the Cardinals have yet to release a statement about the incident as they seem to be looking for more details about it.
However, the St. Louis police department sent this statement out
“This further amplifies our yearly message of encouraging ‘Fun Without Guns.’ We know ‘what goes up must come down,’ and in this case, an innocent victim was struck. The department constantly stresses the importance of safety and responsible gun ownership”
Gun safety will forever be a debate in this country.
