In the end, it’s always the Swoosh coming out on top.
Odell Beckham Jr. just became the face of Nike football, and in a huge way.
Darren Rovell of ESPN.com reported that Beckham and Nike agreed to a five-year, $25 million deal — the largest for any NFL player ever.
Beckham’s deal with Nike was set to expire on May 1, and reports suggest that the Giants star contemplated signing a deal with Adidas.
Nike reportedly opted to match the deal from adidas on Tuesday.
Beckham is one of the best wide receivers in the world, and can thank New York city for part of that hefty new deal that will pay him more than the G-Men do right now.
