The Draymond Green vs LeBron James rivalry became a thing after last year’s NBA Finals, and many are looking to see what happens in this year’s series as Game 1 is set to tip off on Thursday night.
Green spoke to ABC’s “Good Morning America” about the Cavaliers vs Warriors trilogy, as well as LeBron and his legacy of trying to be the GOAT. He had some interesting things to say.
“It don’t really matter. He can have that title. He just can’t have this ring. … Our goal isn’t to make everyone say, ‘Hey, LeBron isn’t the greatest player of all time.’ More power to him. Go ahead. At the end of the day, it’s all subjective anyway.
“… I can care less if anyone says LeBron is the greatest of all time. The only thing I care about is they can’t say LeBron is a 2017 NBA champion.”
This series is setting up to be an epic one.
