Former Kentucky freshman G Hamidou Diallo left school with plenty of questions about how his game would translate to the next level, after competing in the vertical drill at today’s NBA combine; he sure answered one.
Diallo posted the second-best vertical in NBA combine history, soaring up an amazing 44.5″:

The first leap was so impressive, staffers brought in objects to make the test bar even higher, thinking he might clear the whole thing on his second jump; however, his first ended up being his highest:

Diallo will be looking to turn heads however he’s able leading up to the draft being that he didn’t see a minute of playing time under Coach Calipari this past season.
Even so, Diallo has been projected by many to be drafted in the second round, and after seeing him literally almost jump out of the gym; it’s not hard to see why.
The NBA’s best vertical, 46″, was posted by D.J. Stephens in 2013.
