A graphic cell phone video has gone viral.
A man, who identifies himself as Shane Wilson in the video, is left critically injured laying in the middle of an Alabama road.
Wilson’s girlfriend allegedly ran him over and left him in the street to die
In the video, the critically injured man lays sprawled in the road as horrified onlookers wait for emergency responders to arrive. One woman runs up and covers the man’s face with a towel on direction from the 911 dispatcher with whom she’s speaking with on the phone. Several times during the video, bystanders can be heard saying that the man’s face was “completely ripped off” during the vehicular attack.
Eventually, a police officer responds, followed shortly by the fire department. The first responders do what they can for the man until an ambulance finally arrives some time later.
The details surrounding the incident are unknown and it is also unknown whether the girlfriend has been captured. Wilson is in stable condition in an Alabama hospital.
