Ice Cube, founder of the new BIG3 3 on 3 professional basketball league has challenged LaVar Ball. Cube, who fashions himself a big baller, drained a 4 point shot (30 ft) and challenged LaVar Ball to make one. Cube says, if Ball hits the shot he’ll buy 10 pairs of Big Baller Brand shoes.
This is actually good potential for “BBB” and Cube’s BIG3 league. There is an opportunity to capitalize on the fame/notoriety of Ball and Cube could give the “BBB” brand a platform to show their stuff. But, we’re getting premature. Ball has to acknowledge Cube’s challenge first.
The BIG3 basketball league tipoff is set for June 25th at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NYC.
