Floyd Mayweather vs. Conor McGregor is signed and headed to the ring but there’s only one problem, the T-Mobile Arena is already reserved by Ice Cube on August 26.
Appearing on Monday’s edition of Undisputed, Shannon Sharpe asks Cube if he’s willing to work with the entities behind Mayweather vs. McGregor to move his Big 3 basketball league to an alternative venue (like the MGM Grande Garden Arena) for a little compensation.
A big boxing fan himself, Cube responded with no hesitation.
“… I mean if they do what they’re supposed to do and make us happy.”
In other words, show Cube the money! (No Rod Tidwell)
Cube appeared to be very open to the idea and who can blame him? With the huge crowd headed to Vegas that weekend, his league stands to make a lot of money off people in town looking for additional activities to attend.
