Odell Beckham Jr. has been most-known for with whom/where he’s been spotted during the offseason, as well as missing OTAs to do his own workouts around the country.
He’s also been putting smiles on kid’s faces all over, usually by letting them hang out at his very public workouts, even doing some drills with them. But his latest trip may have been his most meaningful…at least to someone else.
A Texas radio DJ, Tommy Joe recently made a plea for the Giants superstar WR to visit 9-year-old Jayro Ponce, who is dealing with a life-threatening cancer battle:
The post caught the attention of the father of Giants center Weston Richburg, who reached out to Beckham, offering to finance his trip in order to set up a meeting:

Beckham, to his credit, didn’t waste any time responding to set up a plan of action to go about getting this done:

By the following Saturday, Beckham was kicking it with young Jayro & family, helping put a HUGE smile on his face:
It’s always good when social media is used for good things like this. A break from the daily trauma of the White House updates is definitely appreciated.
