Randy Moss isn’t a season pro when it comes to being an NFL Analyst, but he’s making strides.
The former NFL great caught some flak this morning while discussing on ESPN’s Sunday NFL Countdown, the huge relief effort that JJ Watt and the Texans are bringing to the city of Houston.
“Over the last month, we’ve had a lot of losers in our country out here protesting racism, doing a lot of negative stuff. It puts a lot of bad shame on our country. But when you see the things that JJ Watt is doing — bringing winners together, bringing the community together, bringing the whole state together…”
The question now is did Moss misspeak when it sounded as if he was being critical of those who are protesting racism.
Did Moss mean that the racists who are demonstrating are losers?
Definitely not being that he knows all too well the challenges of dealing with white supremacy, getting expelled from high school after being involved in a brawl with racist in Rand, West Virginia.
Moss also shouted out former NBA player Stephen Jackson, pledging to provide cleaning supplies to the Port Arthur natives massive cleanup efforts.
Update:
Moss quickly released this tweet clarifying his comments.
