Miami Dophins linebacker Lawrence Timmons was located safe and sound after going AWOL for no reason other than he wanted to head to Pennsylvania.
According to TMZ, the team was in Los Angeles to play against the Chargers on Sunday. During a room check to ensure all players were in by curfew Timmons was discovered missing and calls were made to family and friends with no luck. A rep from the team then contacted law enforcement to file a missing persons report. Timmons was eventually located early Sunday morning at LAX attempting to board a plane to Pennsylvania.
A source tells TMZ that Timmons wanted to visit his baby mama and child who live there and would not be deterred.
Timmons is now back with the Dophins and meeting with doctors according to ESPN.
