Pete Rose’s turn as a TV analyst has come to an end
According to the Hollywood Reporter, will not return to the anchor desk as a post-game commentator. Fox Sports has yet to comment publicly.
Sources tell The Hollywood Reporter that Major League Baseball’s all-time hits leader will not continue at the cable network, where he was slated to return to the desk as part of its coverage of postseason games. Fox Sports declined comment.
The dismissal comes after allegations surfaced that Rose had a sexual relationship with an underage girl in the 1970s. Rose previously admitted to having a relationship with the woman but said the woman was 16.
