Right now #istandwithjemelehill is trending on Twitter after Jemele Hill’s employer, the WWL in sports suspended her for giving an opinion on a recent move by Cowboys owner Jerry Jones. Of course I just gave the general points and didn’t get into specifics but essentially that is what happened. We don’t need to get into what her opinion was and what she was responding to as we have covered it extensively here on BSO. What is important is many of her colleagues have come out in support of her. Sarah Spain, Cari Champion, and Michelle Beadle to name a few. Kenny Mayne is the latest to support his suspended colleague and used powerful lyrics from singer/songwriter extraordinaire Stevie Wonder.
