NBA twin superstars Marcus and Markieff Morris have been found not guilty of beating a man who was known to be sexting their mother.
Marcus, who plays for Boston Celtics whilst his brother Markieff represents the Washington Wizards appeared at the Arizona courtroom on Tuesday where they were acquitted on aggravated assault charges according to TMZ Sports.
The beating happened in 2015 at a basketball youth game after the brothers were joined by 3 other men in the brutal beating of Erik Wood after he allegedly sent inappropriate texts to their mother.
The jury began deliberating on Monday and came to a conclusion on Tuesday, where the verdict was not guilty. The Morris twins can count themselves lucky as they were facing possible prison time if convicted.
