A $20 million lawsuit that was filed against Usher has been thrown out. Georgia resident Laura Helm initially claimed that the two had unprotected sex and that he transmitted herpes to her.
This case backfired on Helm as a phone call of hers was recorded in which she said that she had protected sex with Usher. This proved that all accusations against Usher were false. This was two days before the lawsuit was brought forward, according to TMZ.
Helm hired a new lawyer after the original one withdrew from the lawsuit. Documents were soon filed to dismiss the case. Reasons for the dismissal were unknown.
