It looks like Steph Curry will be forced to miss the Warriors’ highly-anticipated Christmas Day matchup with the Cavs, after suffering a nasty sprained right ankle vs the Pelicans earlier in the month.
The Warriors are loaded; so there will still be tons of star power on the floor which will make for an entertaining game.
However, there’s no denying that without both Isaiah Thomas or Steph Curry suiting up; the game won’t be the probable Finals preview we were all hoping for.
Here’s the latest on Curry’s injury, via the Warriors official PR staff:

The Warriors would be extremely smart to handle Curry’s ankles with care, after the way sprains plagued his first few years in the league. They overextended themselves before chasing the Bulls regular season wins record & it likely cost them a championship.
I think they’ve learned their lesson and will give Curry all the time he needs to recover 110%.
