On Monday, Patriots Tight End Rob Gronkowski was handed down a one-game suspension by the NFL for his late night on Bills Cornerback Tre’Davious White which was labeled as a dirty play by many players. White intercepted a pass from Tom Brady and as White was clearly down and rolled out of bounds, Gronkowski jumped on top of him. Some feel that he should have been hit with a two-game suspension, which is clearly deserving considering how hurt White could have been.
Actor Matt Damon, who is a huge Boston sports fan, admitted to TMZ Sports that the NFL got it right with Gronkowski’s one-game suspension. Despite this incident, Damon still believes that Gronkowski is “great.” Gronk will miss the Patriots’ upcoming Monday night game vs the Dolphins in Miami.
