Bill Belichick Tells ESPN Reporter He Knows He Likes to Report on Inaccurate Things After Jimmy G Question

If you’re a reporter, you’re very aware of Bill Belichick and the appropriate lining of questions to ask him. Belichick rarely answers anything outside of football, practices or his recent opponent, yet reporters still find the courage to ask him about rumors or anything else off the field.

When Garoppolo was traded, I knew the Patriots were going to regret it and now, according to rumors, it seems to be happening sooner than later. Garoppolo has seen huge success as the 49ers QB and questions have started to fuel as to whether the Patriots made the grave mistake of trading him.

Bill Belichick on if he was “furious and demoralized” after Jimmy Garoppolo trade: “First of all, I don’t really know what you’re talking about; I haven’t read the article. I don’t know what that refers to. Look, Mike, I know we’re been through this before. I know you want to report on things that are inaccurate and un-attributable. I’m not really interested in responding to all those random, and I would say in a lot of cases, baseless comments.”

Let’s just avoid asking Belichick these type of questions especially for story purposes.
