Monday was the celebration of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr’s birthday throughout the United States. The day was stacked with NBA games across the country, and the NBA as a whole paid tribute to Dr. King.
The Trailblazers didn’t play Monday but had a home game Tuesday night against the Suns. Just because the national holiday to celebrate Dr. King’s works and life had past didn’t mean the change to celebrate him was over. Blazers star Damian Lillard took the opportunity to give an epic pregame tribute to Dr. King.
