NFL Hall of Famer Brett Favre is being handed down a lawsuit over illegal practices in attempting to start up his social media website Sqor Sports. These practices attempted to earn $16 million in investments from a capital management firm, according to documents in court received by The Blast.
The reported firm is Callais Capital Management out of Lousiana. They reported that Favre and his business partners lied about financial details about Sqor Sports. Favre’s motive for trying to start this social media site was to connect fans to their favorite professional athletes, per The Blast.
Callais Capital Management also exposed lies stated by Favre’s app as they made claims about how much revenue they generated, projected income in the future, along with athletes who said they used Squor Sports when they actually didn’t. Notable names include Odell Beckham Jr, Rob Gronkowski, and Allen Iverson.
The Blast also released more lies from Sqor Sports said which included partnerships with the Bulls and Lakers along with the NFL Players Association.
We know Brett Favre wants to secure his bag but through these moves, it’ll never happen. It will be interesting to see what other business ventures he can possibly accomplish after this scandal.
