The Cavaliers have been experiencing turmoil in the locker room due to a myriad of bad losses. The team has also had problems with Kevin Love and Isaiah Thomas’ efforts. A lighter story is now coming out of Cleveland.
Cavs beat writer Dave McMenamin was on his way to cover Cleveland’s game in San Antonio last night and he saw a stray dog on the way. The dog was seen just outside of AT&T Center. This was after the Cavs’ morning shootaround. McMenamin soon took to Twitter to get information of any nearby adoption centers for dogs.
McMenamin was then referred to Animal Care Service. He also had a fun time on the ride with the dog by taking selfies. McMenamin was pleased with the dog’s great behavior. Spurs writer Adrian Garcia of KSAT News told McMenamin that the dog’s name was Rockstar. The Animal Care Service then gave him a haircut and washed him.
UPDATE!! This one is almost too much to handle. Thanks to @KSATadrian, we now know that Buddy’s real name is … get this … Rockstar. Haha. And ACS gave him a wash and a haircut to make him feel so fresh and so clean clean. Look at him! pic.twitter.com/gMTYi7rszp
