UCF just won’t let it go.
Yes, they had an undefeated season, & even beat some impressive teams.
But you know how this works.
A school like UCF would need to go undefeated two more seasons to overcome the politics & be considered for the national championship game. But don’t tell that to anyone on that campus, or Florida Gov. Rick Scott.
Scott has actually signed some sort of legal document naming UCF the “real” 2018 national champions…even though Alabama & Georgia are playing for the actual trophy:

I’m not sure how this will work in the history books; but you can rest assured, either Alabama or Georgia will be the official top dog this year.
